Photos: Ebeano Supermaket in Lekki gutted by fire


Ebeano shopping complex is the biggest supermarket in Lekki Phase 1 and it's on fire right now. The cause of the fire is unknown. So sad! Firemen are currently on ground trying desperately to quell the fire and stop it from spreading. Thankfully no lives were reported to have been lost. More photos after the cut...

Fire fighters & policemen at Ebeano Supermarket (photos)


The fire fighters got there few minutes past 8pm and the building was still on fire. The structure is still standing but the supermarket was razed to the ground. Workers are momentarily working hard to see what can still be salvaged from the inferno. The fire started from the Electronics section of the supermarket and spread like wild fire in no time affecting other sections. The bookstore acted as a fuel to the fire.

4 houses razed by fire on Aiyeleto street, Surulere last night (photos)


There was a fire outbreak yesterday evening at Aiyeleto street. Four houses got totally razed by the inferno but thankfully, residents were able to evacuate so no serious injuries but properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
